The Coast Guard says workers have been unloading tons of iron ore from a cargo ship that ran aground in the Chesapeake Bay north of Annapolis.
The Bahamian-flagged vessel CSL Argosy ran aground Saturday while heading to Baltimore and was still stuck Monday in the Craig Hill Channel. The Coast Guard says the cargo of about 20,000 metric tons of ore was being removed in hopes of lightening the ship so it can be refloated.
The ore is being moved to a barge for delivery to Baltimore.
The cause of the grounding is under investigation. ekspedisi JNE
